Book Fair / Fiera Del Libro Autunnale

Welcome to the La Scuola Virtual Book Fair!

How It Works | Delivery | Book Recommendations | Monetary Donations 

In order to support local small businesses, we have partnered with two San Francisco bookstores (Libreria Pino and Green Apple Books) to hold our first virtual book fair, with 10% of the proceeds benefiting La Scuola. The book fair will run from Monday August 17th through Monday August 31st.  We have compiled some recommendations from our own La Scuola teachers and staff, with the links below. All proceeds from book sales and donations go to fulfill teacher and library book wishlists with an emphasis on increasing diversity and representation in La Scuola's reading materials.

Abbiamo avviato un’iniziativa assieme a due librerie di San Francisco (Libreria Pino e Green Apple Books) per offrire il nostro sostegno ai piccoli esercenti locali: la nostra prima Fiera del Libro, che donerà il 10% dei proventi alla Scuola, si terrà da lunedì 17 agosto a lunedì 31 agosto. Nei link in basso troverete una serie di consigli d’acquisto forniti dagli insegnanti e dallo staff della Scuola. Tutti i proventi ottenuti dalla vendita e donazione di libri verranno utilizzati per acquisti destinati agli insegnanti e alla biblioteca, con l’obiettivo di incrementare diversità e rappresentazione nei materiali di lettura della Scuola.

Go to the bookstore websites below by clicking on the logos, and order the books you’d like.

To find Italian books at Libreria Pino, please use the above link and add "La Scuola" to your cart to ensure that La Scuola gets the 10% back
To find books of all sorts at Green Apple Books, please use the above link and add “La Scuola” in the comments at checkout
     

Delivery

With both bookstores you have two options; you can either pay for shipping and have them shipped directly to your home, or choose in-store pick up and a member of PALS will pick up in early September and distribute to the campuses by September 15th for parent pickup or disperse to students if we’re back on campus.
